Projector for the trains of today and tomorrow

In 15 years we have gathered more than 400 years' train experience and we would like to share this! Project and concept development have always been an integral part of our DNA, then came the train aspects and later service and now also support. We take one step at a time, but are always in constant movement.

Case 1

Fronts

projector has produced and delivered front modules for several types of train containing an operator’s compartment, control panel and hinged front doors. The front modules are delivered as a “plug-and-play” solution where we have been responsible for the entire production, which includes the welding of door frames, fitting of doors, transmission system and various electrical modules and components as well as final testing and shipment. The production of front modules is complicated and requires focus on skills, quality and precision.

Besides the new production of front modules, Projector also performs the repair and service of all types of control panels/front doors.

Case 2

Play and Catering module

projector has developed and delivered a play and catering module, which is part of the renovation of a Bistro carriage for SJ. On the basis of the customer’s requirement specification, we developed, made mature for production, produced and delivered modules for 20 renovated bistro carriages. Among other things, the project has been about:

  • Requirements for low weight, which placed great demands on solutions and material choice
  • Fire safety pursuant to EN 45545-2
  • Verification of strength pursuant to UIC 566 and customer requirements
  • Full documentation in 3D (SolidWorks) including installation and maintenance manual
